Being the great song writer Prince is, I bet it would be the best Country album in the last 30 years. I was actually thinking about doing a thread on this subject so I'm glad I didn't knowing this one was around. I think it could really get Prince's creative juices flowing if Prince embarked on a Country album. Have it mixed in with some hard funk and you got yourself a Country Funk-Fried album! If Ray Charles could do a Country album why can't Prince? Even if it sucked, I'd appreciate the effort in him doing something completely out of his comfort range, if that is even the case. Yeeeee Haaaaaw! I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

I feel he's actually done many numbers that could cross-over to the country charts. Sweet Baby and Holy River are two that come to mind off the top. | |
