It's been a long time since I've posted. I'm doing a year in Korea (Air Force) and it's been tough a year personally-probably the worst one as a whole. The loss of my 15 year old nephew-ending of a 20 year relationship-being stuck in Korea plus a few other things. BUT this time I finally had to post. I met U once Ben after a ONA show in Hollywood and you're a great guy. U hit the nail right on the head. I've really had to learn to seperate the man from the music. The music/lyrics are so different from the man's actions. I hate admitting that I'm more like him then is healthy. But U are so correct! U have to seperate the man from the music. It's not easy sometimes. The man is guilty of using the internet in the old days to leak things out to us. He's 4gotten what it's like 2 be a fan. Maybe the internet was a bad thing because we've learned to much about him. Keep strong and I'm sure that a lot of us will have your back if something like a lawsuit goes down...It's a shame what's happened...and to think I still get ridiculed 4 being such a Prince fan...Prince, what's happened 2 U? Tell us that it's not about money and mean it. We fell 4 the whole name change and defended U. U let us down when it really was about the money...I miss the artistry of Prince not the banker/lawyer. | |
