I wish he would put in some places in Central Europe too.

As an American, I voted for Australia. I do want to visit the Sixth Continent and a Prince concert is the perfect reason. However, I can fly to Paris, Rome, or Holland as well (places I've already visited). The U.S. got the 3121 Club November 2006 - April 2007, so we don't need him back here so soon. Absence does make the heart grow founder.

Besides, this is the season of thanksgiving and we Americans should share Prince with the rest of the world.

Thankyou we've only had Prince twice in Australia 1992&2003 touched angel

that's y it makes MORE sense 2 tour down under (us citizen here)
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Almost 10.000 votes in, and 33% want him in the US while 63% want him in Europe!

COME ON UK & Europe - there's only 2% in it! biggrin

I still think the Paris, Holland, and Rome votes should be put together to make the 'European' vote! Isn't the US a Continent? I'm not very good at geography either but ..... confused smile

And they say our education system is bad! The United States is a country in the continent of North America. lol

Oh yes, that's what I meant!!
wink lol

That's because Paris has votes from all over Europe coming in, that's why they are ahead. I'm sure the London fans are voting there too, to get him back on that side of the globe again. If it was just Paris voters, they would have been behind, plus some Australian, Rome and Holland voters are including their votes in Paris as well.

For the US. basically it's US fans and maybe Canadians. US is not that far behind though in the polls. But I have to say, that what you see in that voting is no way all of the US fans, that's impossible.

nod I agree with this.

Looks like Paris is gonna win this thing.

...Damn man, what about the rest of the U.S. - you know, the part between New York and L.A.? To be more specific, can the Midwest get some shows? *more whining and bitching goes here*

But Hey, you can't always get what you want, right? After all, people in hell want icewater.

Although, to be fair, either Australia or Holland should have first dibs...

confused

I'll be amazed if he even thinks of touring now with all that's taken place in the last several hours.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

there needs to be a weighted balance to this.

for starters there are about 50 million people living in France, as well as the neighboring countries (like UK, Spain, etc) will make up say, another 100-150 million. The US has 250 million!! Whereas, Australia has a population of less than 20 million and no one from its neighbors Indonesia or New Zealand) Will likely make an impact on the votes.. So this should be weighted, if so, Austrlia should be right up there!

Also, he hasnt been to Oz since 1992, hes been to London recently (so easy for Parisians and Dutch, etc to get to), whilst he has recently played a spate of shows in the US, so even for fairness sake, it should go to Oz.

If only life were this fair.....
