Uh..HI...sorry, but can someone tell me why some of these songs are heart-wrenching, just a little description because I really don't know some of them.
Ok, Purple Rain and Sometime it Snows in April I have heard. I can also understand why Lets have A Baby would be here. Anyone care to break some of them down for me please?

I throw that word around all the time... but anybody who's come here to gain more knowledge on Prince/his music or just to make friends with similar interests cuz they don't know anyone who cares about his stuff personally... they're above Ignorance. Nobody here fits my description of an "ignorant" 
The heart sees what it chooses to see... and in some cases, some songs just seem that way to certain people. Either based on the history behind it or something going on in their mind at the time when they listened to it. I don't understand some of the choices myself, so you're not alone in that respect. had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone | |

I wouldn't call it "heart wrenching" yet... but when I heard him sing lyrics I never heard b4 (like not in the movie)...
