I love this movie so much, and like many people feel it is waaaaay under-rated. Its a shame that some people couldn't get over the fact that it wasn't Purple Rain part 2 and just enjoy it! Sounds like a real man to me...mind if I turn on the radio? | |

I've been a Prince fan since the early 80s.
I could never see this movie back in 86; it never had a theatrical release in Spain. Not that I knew at least. Never got to see it on TV either so I was quite excited when all P's movies were released on DVD a couple years ago. Couldn't find them  so I had to order them online  .
Now, I get comfortable, pick my pop corn and start watching 
Couldn't get past 10-15 minutes!!!It's worse than I could have possibly imagined 
I should have listened to all the signs that had been protecting me from seeing that stuff for 20 years. It's still there on the shelf like a curse "someday you're gonna play me"

I found a couple I could save, heh... he's so awesome-looking. You know what, I think I had something different in mind when I thought about the movie. I thought it'd be about 2 summer lovers in Minneapolis, haha... summer lovers. I did think it was Purple Rain 2... but that was when I first learned he had actually done more than one movie. But nah, it's in France... but it works really well. had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone | |

TERRIBLE story but the exchanges between Prince and Jerome were funny as hell.
Great music and although the clothing is not my style, they looked good on all of the actors in the movie. | |
