Michael has had his success his way and Prince has had his success his way.
Two completley different artists.
Sales mean fuck all in this day and age - back in the 80's yes.

Also about the comment that MJ has had over 30 albums - compilations do not count and neither do the Jackson albums. If you are going to compare them, you have to do so on the solo work.

One thing though, at least Prince knows that the thing between his legs is not just to piss with - or have little boys play with.

I think it's funny that people still think that Jackson's final evolution to consistent freezeframe, robo-popping, astaire twirls was better dancing than Prince. If you watch SOTT the movie, you can see Prince change his dancing style for each song. Prince also consciously chose to not dance with the same stylistics as Jackson in the peak 80's days and Purple Rain the film (to avoid this type of comparison/debate)

However, if it is who is better now, even MJ fans need to concede cuz MJ hasn't done shit for a while now.

Mike's next album may sell a couple million with all the help he will have (writers, producers, guests) trying to create a great album. Invincible sold 8 mill worldwide tho and few can remember 2 songs from it.

MJ ain't gonna be able to do the touring cuz all he is known for is his dancing and at 49, Prince can attest to the fact that your legs ain't gonna do everything they once did. MJ can't fall back into guitar mode so all he can do is stand at the stage and sing. He'll probably move a little bit but doubt he can do a lot of what he used to.

I'm sick of this Michael vs Prince comparisons. They are totally different types of performers. To me Prince is boring is more hype then anything. I means how many people can name 5 Prince songs compared to 5 Michael Jackson songs. You cannot compare prince to the level of Michael. Prince has not innovated anything in the music industry whilst Michael has innovated a lot as we all know. I feel it is only because of Michael's private life that drives people to think prince can be compared or is equal to Michael artistically. I just don't think prince is a legend compared to Michael.

I have read only few comments and none of them seemed that negative compared to what one can read about MJ over here sometimes.

Has Robot Chicken made these two fight or rob a bank together?

You know, I think that freaky MJ site says it all. I mean, WTF? Why is anyone even trying to COMPARE them? Lame. I remember being NUTS about MJ @ 12 and then entering Prince world and suddenly, it was ALL over. I was a Prince Girl. MJ is talented but he got all screwed up along the way. It's sad. Somehow, Prince is hanging tight, in excellant form. He is doing a really good job at playing his hand at just the right times. I wanted to enter a reply, but decided it was pointless. Thats what has 2 esablished, before.

Like i said consistant, Prince has made more $ than jackson, with musicology sellin 8 million, while jacsons last 2 albums did much worse.

Live Prince we all know is more the complete performer, jackson can only dream of sellin 200,000 tickets in 20 mins!
