My favourite song on PE at the moment... BEAUTIFUL melody, doesn't outstay its welcome and wonderful lyrics! Amazing... did W&L actually have anything to do with this one, or is that just assumed?

i was just trashing this song in MR GOODNIGHT .. but i gotta confess i love it! .. its a great short sweet .beautiful love song . which is kinda the prince redemption so after Mr Goodnight . which is what he tends to do . this so corny an romantic . thats a great an theres no bragging or cockyness(although that was cool an essential 4 the album). this is a sincere momment an great song for people inlove . an has that joyous feeling an vibe which we feel .an yeah it deals with jealousy .which whether we admit it or not .we feel if we are truelly giving are all to one person then we want the same in return . his music is great relationship stuff an has always been an he deals with the whole issues an feelings. break ups ..pains ..love..passions..trust ..lost trust ..jealousy...carring..affairs of the heart..better than any artist i can think of RAVE UN2 THE JOY FANTASTIC album ect .. when u are feeling a certain way in a relationship .. there is always a prince song that will express how it is u are feeling .. i appreciate that in his work .. also this is catchy as hell an pretty as hell .. the only way it does sound odd an made me diss ..was the way it plays straight after MR GOODNIGHT ..kinda like gelling into one .. MR GOODNIGHT is like an introduction an he just getting familiar an then 4 an a half mins later he is wanted to spend all the midnights in the world with u .. i no its only an album an it aint real .. but its like it takes u on a journy an that made me think too serious too soon .. but thats just been petty about the way the songs play an in what order ect .. this song alone is beautiful an has that CHAOS AN DISORDER/HOLLY RIVER vibe .. this is as pretty as STARFISH AN COFFEE .. an catches a moment in time an vibe real quick .. it might seem middle aged . but its cool an satisfying.....longterm is lol
whenever i want to hear some new music ...i make some - prince '99'

Didn't like this too much at first but I burned a cd thats a combo 3121 & PE & put this song as the closer. And I like it there. It feels like its going to be a long overblown song but it winds up quickly. Its a solid short compact song.
I like. biggrin
