As i understand the article, it says that $15,000 is the cost for all five shows (Tom Petty, and others not just for Prince)... but i'm not so into seeing any of the other acts (even if i had that kind of money). but seeing him at 3121 was absolutely worth every cent i paid...

He might as well work as hard as he can now, after all hes got no wife and kids at the moment, I reckon he's keeping so busy, partly because of that reason.

How do you figure he is working hard? He has most weeks off and then he will play on a Friday and/or Saturday somewhere? He hardly works at all, which is fine because he earned it.

That's true. These long standing gigs in one place have got to be much easier than going on tour, where there might only be one or two days off a week and that's taken up traveling. nod
Again, I'm happy for him. biggrin

He was doing some other work while in Vegas though...getting ready for the Superbowl, hopefully recording a new album, showing up at award shows (as if that counts as work lol ). He wasn't just sitting around all week. And with the perfume and the Hampton's thing, I get the sense he's becoming sort of like Gene Simmons- when he is at "home", he trying to figure out new business ventures to make some money on.

he works hard at being creative, he is after all known as the most hardworking man in showbusiness, have u ever tried to do a 2-3 hour concert, thats not easy! enjoyable yes, but still hard work.
