In tha 6th grade and loving that sound since the very first note I'd heard..I was so tired of tha played disco sound.....

Probably roller skating to "Last Dance" by Donna Summer or "We are the Champions" by Queen. Ah the memories. Getting damn old!

Seven years old, in the UK, 1978. There was only one thing I was thinking of/excited by with at that time. this little space film called Star Wars!

I was 9 years old..good grief...but I remember listening to Prince, not really "knowing" who he was until a little later, then I was like oh holy cow..this is fantastic!!

I was about to graduate from high school and begin my lifelong love affair with cocktails.

I was 8 and was spying on my older cousin and her friends, who were all excited about some album they'd bought with some dude in a big 'fro on the cover.

I had just turned 10 and hadn't heard of the man yet. Not until the next album.

But like others Rocky/Star wars
Funkedelic/ disco dancing / gap band / K tel records / cub scouts / tough skins

and not a freakin care in the world

At 7, I was watching Countdown in Australia and I'm pretty sure they had no idea who Prince was (although I saw Controversy there a few years later).

I was in kindergarten preparing myself for him

Hanging out in Kindergarten. Taking naps and eating snacks.

Kiss , Aerosmith, BOC , Stones , Yankees

Turning 1yr old and did not know at the time that Prince would be my all time favorite singer
