See my siggy to find what turned me onto Prince.
The first time I saw him was in "Purple Rain," (2nd half of the movie). I saw him as a musician that only played music he wrote himself, a little stuck-on himself, I guess. But after seeing what he could do (sing/guitar/dance), I didn't care about his attitude. When he made televised appearances, I felt drawn to him, like he put me under a spell. He surrounded the stage with a certain "aura" when he performs and always draws me to the point where I can't even blink, unable to look away. That's a gift he has that can't be touched (i.e. intangible). But his eyes were what I noticed after that. They light up when he performs. Then to his smile, his hair and so on... But my favorite feature of Prince has always been his eyes. and the Dreamy expression they were (thats where i got my u/n from, partially) had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong.
