After doing all the weird things that I don't think I would have put up with... like lying about her baby's health... after the baby death, the whole tora tora, name change, when Paisley Park was in the dark for non payment of bills. And then Prince just dumps her.... what was she expected to do, curl up and die... encase herself in ice just in case Prince "came to his senses" and came back to her... they were over and her decisions in life should not have any consideration for him, just as his decisions didn't consider her. I wish people would stop judging Mayte for moving on... sometimes Mr. Wrong is just right at the time when you need a crutch to get out of a hurtful period. From what I heard after their baby son died, that Prince became very distant with Mayte and their marriage became strained that Mayte filed for divorce. | |
