Yes, i think its his new album. The pic is the format of a CD cover (lousy one, by the way...), and the way he presents it on 3121.com ('coming summer 2007'), only confirms that thought. I mean: when its about a tour, it would say 'starting summer 2007' or something like that, and i don't think its a new single, because why would he present it that early?

So, to conclude, there is this new Prince album called 'Planet Earth'.

What songs do you think will be on it?

I think it isnt 'strange' to assume the following:

1. Welcome to planet Earth (the song been played during his 3121-concerts in
Vegas, the album opener even maybe?)

2. All along the watchtower / Best of you: i mean, why would he send this song
to air on Howard Sterns radio show, and why does he perform it during the
superbowl, when its not going to be released officialy (on an album?)

3. One or more Beatles-covers: wether it be Revolution, Come Together and The
Long and winding road... Too much speculation about this, and he played
these three songs more then once in Las Vegas.

4. Guitar (Maybe its just a track to 'test' the 3121 site, but i can see this
as an album track also. Just like Ti Amo Corazon was released as an
early 'teaser' for the release of 3121).

Next to that i have the feeling that this album will probably be:

- A double-cd

- A stylistic very diverse album, much like Sign of the Times or the Symbol
album (mixing rocktracks, popsongs, soulballads, funk, latin-influenced songs
and jazzy songs)

- Sound- and productionwise it will be a mixture of The Rainbow Children,
Musicology and 3121, or: quite polished and accesible songs, but with more
sense of experiment and creative idea's (jazzy breaks, latin influences).

I am curious about your thoughts on the new Prince album 'Planet Earth'

OK, I'll admit that I'm pretty blind, but I can't believe it took me this long to see that the background is covered in little 3121's. I guess the 3121 experience isn't over...

Well actually I'm hoping that's what it is because I work in the medical field and after seeing this and hearing that someone has seen him perform at 3121 with one of these so called girdles the thought of "back brace" comes to mind...and knowing P.....if he had to wear one it would be a very fashionable style...like this one.....lol....just seems odd.....not trying to start rumors anything.....

At least, Mr. Nelson is giving and doing his part, as we all can in our own "talented" ways to give notice to what is REAL and honest with what we can do for Earth and in service to each other (with peace).

Thanks 4 the enlightened post. I can't help but see this as a lost cause, judging by the way the world is run.
The most powerful countries r the most profit motivated.
Capitalism has become a law unto itself, and 4 many the ideals of capitalism are in that place where morality ought 2 b.
People are mis-educated from the start. the smarter people usually come out of school, at best knowing how important it is to make dollars at someone elses expense.
If they achieve this goal they're satisfied with their career and often get so bloated with self-love they can't see or move freely anymore.

I know it's a bad attitude, and I wish things were different but I really don't think the people/governments of Asia or America are, in the face of any argument, going to break with the familiar philosophy of fast-buck-making, let alone the argument of some ageing popstar legend, standing on some badly lit stage and ringing his bell in a rather daring corset.

The human race can invent interesting gadgets and ingeneous ways of killing each other but you can't expect them to be able to control themselves.

The strangest thing about real life is that we don't get to see how the story ends.
