After working 10 hours in a superficial atmospshere (sigh)....this is what I needed to come home to.

LL Cool J did a good job hosting as well. I have to say the NAACP did a good job this year, was a very classy show, especially since this was the first time it was a live show. Don't know if you're a fan of India-Arie, and not to spoil it before you see it, but she performed very well in singing her song "I Am Not My Hair"..love that song, but it's unfortunate in this society that some can't see beyond a person's hair...but that song certainly sends a message...the message I get from it is to look beyond one's hair, as hair doesn't define who we are..it's the innerself..the soul that defines us...if you look into a person's eyes, you see their soul... ...
