hell yeah. Btw, the actor should know how to sing pretty well too, if D'angelo was smaller, more light skinned... he could play prince. But he's maybe a bad actor. I dunno. I would want one with a great voice, and ain't that many looking like prince that can both act and sing.

don't be mad at me. i'm just saying. Prince is Black (no matter how much y'all wish he was racially ambiguous). It would make sense that somebody Black should play him if there was to be a film made about his life. Ain't like Hollywood is short on Black actors. If you're still mad, just think of the money they'll save on makeup costs.
