Ok. 6 and 7. Did you want to hear about that one? Well...when I was 17 I didn't know that in England they had the symbol sixes and sevens meaning confusion and chaos. No. How would I have known? All I knew was that 6 was the day man was created, as said in the Bible....and I'm not certain today if that even is true. And on the seventh day God rested. And again I'm not sure that either is true. As, I have read a lot since I was 17. And that was in 1983...the day music died.

Nevertheless...I named myself 6 for the fact that I was human. And I named that spirit I was communicating with, 7. That spirit kept on pushing Prince music in my face. Even my boyfriend at the time, Mark, thought it was weird...because it was like the radio in his vehicle was communicating to me.

So I wrote to him about it. Prince that is. He didn't know anything about that Sprit who I called Seven. Because I didn't tell him about it. I called him Seven because I told that Spirit to use his body so I could meet him in physical form. Nor did I tell him about the color orange. But haha I wrote a lot about it when I had that weird dream about Seven. I won't tell you either. I will tell you though that I used to say, orange you happy, etc and things like that. Because I thought it was funny.

But Seven is not something Prince himself invented. I decided to write him about it because he had a poster up on his wall. And I wanted to know if in fact he knew anything about those things. But nada. He didn't know a thing. That is why I didn't meet him. Even though he came to my parents house and stared into my window to see that I was eating and watching Dynasty on T.V. But I couldn't answer the door because his surprise caught me off gaurd. I had a towel over my head, since I was dying my hair. Oh the vanity. I know. But that's not why I refused to come to the door. It was because I saw that seven foot tall spirit standing in him, over him, with points of colors like a black shadow with diamonds all over the silhouette. Weird. I was freaked out by Seven. Not Prince. But then again. Maybe I was freaked out by Prince being there, because I had asked Seven two weeks prior to bring him to me. And haha, oh my goodness...there he was. It was a bad joke that Seven played on me. I was angry. He should have had better timing.

I didn't have any problems being added as a friend...but I did it quite awhile ago...probably before NPG shut down. Now Sheila E. on the other hand--her page will only allow requests from people she really knows. You have to enter her last name or email (and I tried Escovedo--it didn't work. )

It might be nice if Prince's myspace page really did function as a surrogate NPGMC but I don't think that's the case. There haven't been any new updates/blogs since NPGMC went on "hiatus" even though it says the last log in was today.

IMO, it would be very common for Prince to jump on the myspace bandwagon after winning a webby for innovative use of the internet to market his music.

Ah, there is one interesting feature of Prince's space.

Look at the column of album covers on the left of the screen and scroll down to SOTT/Lovesexy. There's a strange cover I have never seen before, identifying itself as "The Black Album". Could this have been the cover to the album at some point?
