All that neo-soul posturing, name-dropping, desperate attempt to be "cool" and "hip" is repulsive as is, but on an album like The Rainbow Children, it stands out even more as a real dud. I love every single Prince song. But I don't like them all in equal ammounts at once. For me they all have their own time and place.
