and where have I criticized Larry? You declared no interest in him despite having done no research. Semantics. no, not semantics. criticizing someone and not having an interest is completely different. there are plenty of things in this world that are great that I have never experienced and have no desire to. one does not need to do research or seek out new things when they already have plenty of interests. I've heard the larry jahams that were inserted into the audio shows and they don't interest me. if they are not examples of his best work, too bad, I don't care. more than likely I will never be into larry, that does not mean I have criticized him. I will gladly admit to being ignorant to such an unimportant aspect of life as larry graham than to be inflicted with the ignorance you have displayed throughout this exchange. and I assure you, this has not been anywhere near a vocal gymnastics on my part, merely a cracking of my verbal knuckles. i do practice my religion. true i do not want to go to heaven - i want to live here on earth. this is a promise found throughout the bible, that "the righteous ones will possess the earth"... am not saying i am a righteous one; but am trying to live a christ-like life to the extent possible, be good to people and discuss the bible with everyone who is willing to do so... it's not really a matter of recruitment. i'm studying the bible with a few people... but i think it's as much for myself (or maybe more) than for them... i review everything i've learned previously and renew my own faith by talking to them. some of them are thinking about becoming JWs and of course the choice is left entirely up to them... they'll tell me if and when they want to join, but whether or not they do i will still be their friend. am i making any sense? | |

Most white fans? Why must spirituality be a race issue? I'm one white fan who doesn't have problems with Larry. He keeps Prince thinking, learning, growing, and funking. As long as Prince keeps believing that Jesus is God manifest in Love, he can't go wrong no matter who his friends are. | |
