First of all, Thank you, ITV, for screening the whole set, uncut.
Secondly, OH. MY. GOD!!!!! Best telly ever!!!!! Sat with a huge smile on my face for the first two songs (but still don't really like "TAC" - "Fury" is great though), and as soon as he started "Purple Rain" and at one point Wendy walked past him, and later you saw Wendy walk over to Lisa, while Sheila drummed - "the band are back!" I said to myself - I burst into tears. And didn't stop until about five minutes after his set had finished. Here I sit now, still trembling. Awesome. No other word for it. Awesome. |

our man was amazing as always!!!! purple rain made me cry...again. the dancers were cool and p looks sooo good. he has to tour here in the uk soon he has to, i desperately desperately desperately need to see him live again.please please please .....and i adored sheila's dress,very elegant.and the pic of the rehearsal!!!how fuckin cool does he look!he showed them all tonight what it's about...joss stone was mesmerized and kt tunstall was loving purple rain!it's so good to see the other artists enjoying him. | |

A few points which I may as well get across in one email instead of several 1) I always think Controversy is a really punk album too...in what it has to say. 2) Whever gimp reporter said that Prince perfromance at the Brits was Bizzare and out of place because he hasnt had a hit in 6 years wants to do some better research.....could it be that Prince was invited,not only because he is a star and a musicians musician but also because he's won Best International male at the Brits more times than any other artist??? 3) First place I saw a BIG Prince gig was Earls Court 4) What the hell are U2 doing in best INTERNATIONAL band.....Doesnt being Irish make them British? | |

Just watched the Brits on TV, recorded it onto DVD and watched it a couple of times more.
Good performance. That man rocks. Intro Te Amo Corazon, moves into Fury, into PR into Lets go Crazy. Sweet as a nut. Love it | |
