iTunes gets a Cold Chill

The "Paisley Park" involved album Conversation Peace by Stevie Wonder, be it recording studio or other... is now included in the $189.99 The Complete Stevie Wonder - multiple album collection.

Although a faint cry from Prince can be heard in the background of the Album Version of Cold Chill, this iTunes Complete Stevie Wonder collection also includes the Remix 'Cold Chill (Prince Version)'.

Now where did I put that extra $189.99...

Although you can't buy the song individually, the Complete Stevie Wonder IS split up into individual "albums" and sets. "Cold Chill" (Prince Version) appears on the Remixes set, available for $48.51.

If you have iTunes installed, use this direct link to the box set:

Ouch, both prices are way too high to get a hold of one song!

THere's nothin better IMHO than a Stevie Wonder/Prince Collabo. Two geniuses that know how to make music sound out of this world.

Does anyone know if this is a iTunes only album or collection? Can it be purchased in stores in hard copy/CD form. At my job we have a huge Stevie Wonder compilation (almost all of his songs for about $50). I don't know if that's the samething iTunes has made downloadable...?

I'll search through our inventory catalog when I get to work.

I always thought the album version was the Prince version. He even thanked him in the liner notes and commented in interviews that Prince had collaborated on this song. But after listening to the sample, you can definitely hear the Prince involvement. So maybe the album version has NO Prince involvement?

The version of the album, like the album itself gave me a 'cold chill' wink much as Stevie Wonder and Prince are my favourite artist ever, I would have expected more of a collaboration from them.

However I really dig "what the fuss", so all is forgiven!!

Yup, just like the U2 collection that they offered last year.

I have my eye on all those original mono single mixes. smile Love my Stevie in mono!

That tune is alright. It's definitely Prince-twinges, but the rest of the album is kinda dull. A surprise, since Stevie was the Prince of the 70s. sad

I'm here to say that it (the complete Stevie Wonder Collection) is more than worth the price. Cold Chill (Prince Version) is just one gem out out 583, the live Stevie stuff is priceless.

I'm so happy with this collection, I felt guilty for a second spending this much money but I've been waiting for something like this from Stevie my entire life.

Prince is not featured on the Cold Chill track on Conversation Peace. Just on this box set.
