Both of them were in Marrakech at the same time, Prince to shoot his new video and Salma to shoot her new movie. It just happened that they were at the same location at the same time ...

I've made holidays and work trips (photoshoots with high profile fashion indstry folk) a zillion times in Morrocco and Tunesia, and the social climate there is totally moderate...it's such a falsehood to think that the city streets are just TEEEMING with gun-toting terrorists!!! I honestly wish people would stop with the blanket generalizations of North Africans; they are not ALL terrorists. You know, for some of you party people out there, you would be surprised that you can go to some of the best beach parties of your LIFE in North Africa (!)...in many areas you get that South Beach or Riviera vibe...very tanned, impossibly beautiful people in teeny tiny swimsuits throwing back French aperitifs or local North African brewskies (although I will admit that much to my dismay liquor is NOT sold in grocery stores!!!)...but overall, I've never felt a sense of over extremist/terrorist related tension while there. In fact, I almost cracked up every time I saw some tipsy, overly tanned North African beach bum DJ try to shake a tail feather and keep his mc skills in check, often with his shift ending in him being able to put forth not much more than a "hal-la, hal-la ha-la" between song choruses...

OMG,now that I reflect on my experiences in that region, give me a friggin break (!), Prince, Salma, and the rest of them are FINE when they go to these locales! It's not as if they're going in trying to be Terry Waite and be mistaken by extremist groups as government spies...

Actually, I can't see her being romantically involved with him raher than a creative collab on a project. Though we haven't had much chance to see it in the roles she plays onscreen, Salma's an interesting combination of Hollywood POWER player, highly evolved intellect, and creative Earth mama...she doen't fit the Prince prototype, and realistically, he doesn't fit hers , but then again who knows? Who cares? Let errbody just be happy in love and creation, I I guess

I think Prince does Dig her. She was invited to his Harlem party in 2002. She was with Edward Norton. Prince was chatting up Norton a bit. She also was invited to his Los Angeles parties. She was SEEN with JAMIE FOX at Several Places. Selma Never Really seemed to get her Just Rewards. She is Best Friends with Penolpe Cruz. I think selma deserves more Roles. I like her work with ANTONIO Banderas. I think there are alot of SAMe TYPES and STUFF and Well Penelope and now you have Catherine Zeta who could play Selma's Roles. It's kind of difficult. But, I think Selma will Branch Out. Very Cool....

Salma or Selma? Which is it? I've seen it written and pronounced both ways. Anyway, I"m prone to thinking it's just a big coincidence. They just happened to both be at the same place at the same time. Stars of that caliber are going to hang out if they spot each other in a foreign country. But I wish she was in a Prince video. You know what would be even better? If Prince could somehow reign in his ego and let someone else write, produce and direct him in a film. Of course, that will NEVER HAPPEN! Control freaks...sheesh...

The best we can hope for is that video or his new CD.
