People who haven't seen you for over 10 years ask...so do you still like Prince?

You look in your high school yearbook to find your friends' comments all focused on your obsession with Prince.

You've seen Purple Rain 1,000 times, speak the dialogue on cue with the actors while the movie plays, quote lines from the movie ala "This is a bidness you ain't too far gone to see that yet," in daily life, still get turned on when Prince and Apollonia are about to make love, and flick a ligther at concerts when Prince performs Purple Rain.

Hope and Pray that Sign O'the Times will be officially released on DVD - He was too cute in that white fur performing "If I Was Your Girlfriend."

Only watch Awards shows when you know Prince will be on them.

Attend a Prince concert instead of spending your boyfriend's 30th birthday with him - even though you've already seen him 7 times before, one time being two nights before.

Well I've learned today that there is no black or white, straight or gay. Just Prince fans and non-Prince fans.

You guys seem to have listed all the sypmtoms. Here are some of mine:


- you have a huge photo album filled with nothing but Prince photos. (People see it and expect to see family photos and are shocked when they see Prince photos!!!

- you know all the words to Prince's rant in Lady Cab Driver (this one's for who ever taught you how to kiss in designer jeans)

- you still watch Purple Rain from start to finish without skipping a scene like you've never seen it before or when you catch it on VH-1 with the commercials.

- you've made your own Prince compilation CD's - Prince Ballads, Prince Funky, Prince Guitar, etc, etc,

- you still can't believe that non-Prince fans exist

- you can't imagine a world without Prince
