VH1 Special UPDATE



It seems the reception of my last post was somewhat..well nevermind. I just wanted to let others have a chance of catching the show if they were interested.
The show was VH1 to 1: TAFKAP, it aired at 16:30 CET on
European VH1. Chris Rock sat down with the man in Paisley Park and they talked about loads of stuff. For example, how Prince's mother used to put Playboy magazines around the house to teach him about sex (which seems to have worked



Here's a little sample of the mood:



Chris: Early on in your career, the Androgenous thing, was that an act or were you searching for a sexual identity?



: I don't think I was acting. I think I was just being who I was, the true genimi..there was a little acting going on too. We had a scene where I go hug the bass-player, he's a man, and I go kiss the keyboard player, she's a woman. You know, we had a little of that going on too...that's rock'n roll...(smile)

CHRIS: There's the story of you turning down "BAD".



: Well, you know, that Wesley Snipes Character..that would have been me! To put it better, the first line in the song is: "Your blod is mine" Now I said, who's gonna sing that to who. Cause you sure ain't singing that to me! Right there we had a problem."
