SHEILA E. AND BONEY JAMES ADDED TO SMOOTH JAZZ AWARDS

3rd Annual National Smooth Jazz Awards set for tomorrow, March 2nd at the Golden Hall Theater in San Diego.

Sheila E, Chris Botti and Boney James Added To Perform At Smooth Jazz Awards Sheila E, Chris Botti, Joyce Cooling, Freddie Ravel, Jaared, Euge Groove and Boney James are the latest performances to be featured on the 3rd Annual National Smooth Jazz Awards set for March 2nd at the Golden Hall Theater in San Diego.

This new list of artists join previously confirmed performers Al Jarreau, Rick Braun, Peter White, Keiko Matsui, Kirk Whalum, Wayman Tisdale, Fattburger, Everette Harp and Brian Bromberg. A new list of presenters have also been announced including appearances by Boz Scaggs, Jimmy Sommers, Norman Brown, Harvey Mason, Nathan East, Jason Miles, Gerald Veasley, Steve Cole, Richard Elliot, members of Hiroshima, Jeff Golub, Pete Escovedo and Brian Culbertson which join previously confirmed presenters such as that David Benoit, George Duke, Paul Taylor, Marilyn Scott and Bobby Caldwell.

A red carpet grand entrance by the nominees and special guests will preceed the show starting at 6pm PT.

The prestigious awards show, hosted by Capitol recording artist Dave Koz and Hidden Beach Recordings artist Brenda Russell, will be available to a worldwide audience of more than 80 million viewers broadcast internationally on BET and BET on Jazz premiering on April 29th.

I hate to say it but it seems P is just a few years away from this dreadful musical pergatory. If you can easily categorize the music you know it ain't that good. Gotta keep it fresh, gotta keep growing. neutral
