The party will be Saturday, March 2nd at the Hard Rock Cafe. Doors open at 11 PM and tickets will be $30. They do have musical acts perform there on weekends so there is room for a performance (though I'm sure there is no guarantee as usual).

As of now I have no info on what right NPGMC members will have in regard to the party.

alright... when i rejoined, i was under the impression that we would be getting into the afterparties for free... i was certain that that was part of the $100 i sent them... i do recall something about "access to afterparties"... i had assumed that my 100 bucks was covering that.... maybe i'm being pessimistic and assuming the worst (hopefull), but i really hope that i didn't pay $100 to have access to something that i will have to pay another $30 to be a part of... great...

I'll stop in after the show to see what's happening. Hopefully, as a member of the club, I will be able to get in. I don't mind paying to get in. I think members should be allowed in before others.

I attended the 1st Hit N Run show in Atlanta last spring, and there was an afterparty that was announced after part of the crowd had left the arena, got to the club, Premium members stood in the same line and paid the same price everyone else did to get access. My $20 got me in the door to see Prince arrive a little bit later (club was ghetto as shit). He literally walked in the door, and walked right back out of it about a minute later not to return.

your membership will get you in a VIP line to get in the club. but you still gotta pay, just like the concert tickets. these afterparty clubs aren't about to let potentially 1,000 people in for free (members plus a guest). And before you start whining about $100, getting in through the VIP line is a plus, and it is about all they can do. the nightclub needs to get paid. good luck finding one that doesn't. so if you don't want to pay the $30, don't go.

Yeah, when i went to denver, i bypassed the line and didnt have to pay, although the bouncer looked like he wanted to kick my ass and take my $20, the ppl at the front had a list and waved me in! so it was alright...but Hard Rock...nah they need to make money!

Plus, remember the Fillmore show last May? or March? $20 to get in and it was one of the best live boots I've ever heard...it's worth the chance.

Just called HRC...i asked what they had planned for saturday and the girl mentioned some private party, she said I think it's a hip-hop party. She mentioned someone's name (sorry I forgot) and said he's done parties for P Diddy before, so it must be hip-hop. I suggested the Pricne afterparty and she said "Oh yeah, I think thats what it is!" Wow, such excitement.

So still not sure, unless that dude she mentioned is the local promoter...we'll have to wait and see, but it's only 1 mile from the theatre which is pretty sweet!

secondly... i don't think that there would be a huge problem if non-members paid the $30 and the members got in free... and it doens't have to be members and a guest in free... let me in free, and any guest that i have with me can pick up their $30 fee... that's fair... i can't believe that the club has so many members that this would cause financial burden on the club...

also, if the membership agreement was to give me VIP entry into the afterparty, but i still have to pay for the afterparty, that's cool... as long as that's what the NPGMC advertises... unfortunately, it is not what they advertise... they make it sound like you can just waltz on up in the place... they should let you know when you rejoin that you're getting VIP but you must still pay... then, i wouldn't be upset, because i would have been aware of this when i gave them my money...

and lastly, if it pisses me off to the point where i don't think it's worth the $30, then i won't go... that doesn't mean that i won't complain... because i will... and i will complain as often as i deem necessary...

the nightclub has got to get paid. end of story.

and guess what? they often don't finalize plans until the day of the show. as some fans have said from last year, it's different at different afterparties. it's always going to be different. so they are just covering there ass by not saying anything instead of saying one thing and then having plans change. Cuz you know if something change you all would send a million emails yelling "U LIED!!! WE HATE U!!! sad but true.

All afterparty in4mation will b given out the night of the concert. Plans can change at any time and often do so make sure u hear the announcement immediately after the show. If u c advertised afterparty events, then most likely that is where they will b, but again make sure u get confirmation from the announcement immediately after the show. If there is an afterparty event, it will not b a secret.

Soundcheck access is planned at most concerts on the tour but not guaranteed 4 all of them. If u r an active 2002 member, u will b able 2 come 2 the venue shortly b4 5pm 2 get in2 the soundcheck. U must b an NPGMC 2002 member tho.

actually, not true... i've never been upset with anything that the npgmc has done... even during their worst months of downloads when the org was almost exclusively filled with complaining, i have not been disappointed... even when i got "my medallion" and "high" i was not pissed or complaining... i just accepted it.. it's like buying a cd... you're not going to like everything...

this is the first time that i've ever complained about the npgmc... i feel like i'm being raped... i don't mind the expensive ticket prices, but dammit, i can't afford the high prices for the tickets and then pay again for the afterparty and (possibly) for the sound check as well...
