Prince at First Ave. 2/11 Diary Prince and Larry Graham attended Victor Wooten's show at First Avenue in MPLS on Monday Feb. 11th. They met up with Victor and the band at the show at well. Below is the diary log from the tour that drummer, JD Blair compiled about the MPLS show. Most of the band members say something about the special night. Victor is so funky and he and JD Blair have been on my radio show many times. Check out their sites: www.jdblair.net and www.victorwooten. com

It wasoooo cool. He and Prince came to the show together. We were honered to have them there. The show was a good one. Lots of good people and good fun. it was real cool when Joe did his Larry Graham imitation. I hope Larry liked it. (I'm sure he did, It was very funky) Bela and Edgar played up the street before we did so I went and crashed their show. We worked up a skit where I walked on stage from out of the audience and picked up Edgar bass. We then went into a two on one bass routine. It went over well. I then picked up my bass and played Edgar's song "Green Slime" with them. Then Later on, Bela and Edgar came to our show So we got Bela up to play with us. What a night.
