Paisley Report

intimate party last night.
I would say no more than 50 people total. [Probably because we didn't get the word out for them! smile -Ben]
Announced on NPG Music Club Site.

Black pants (flaired at the bottom), baby blue heels, black jacked and a black 'silk' like shirt (collar up) and the unbuttoned to mid chest.

Hit the stage around 2 A.M. and played until 4 A.M.
Larry G. & wife showed up later in the morning. Prince invited him up on stage for the last song.

It appeared to be a 'rehearsal'/jam session. Not entirely sure of the set list, but here's an attempt (not in any specific order)

Sometimes It Snows In April
Starfish & Coffee
Strange Relationship
(intro to How come You Don't Call Me Anymore)
A majority of the segues from Rainbow Children.
Rainbow Children Rise
If you only knew (Patti LaBelle Cover)

He was in a great mood. Joked with the crowd a bit. Walked off and on the stage periodically allowing the band to jam.
Maceo Parker as always was just slamming.

At one point in the evening he told the band they better learn the ending to one of the tracks mentioned above. He yelled out that's gonna cost ya'. And as Blackwell was tearing up the drums at the end of a song and finished, Prince said (in his funny comical voice) "whose band is this?" LOL!!!!!

Anyway, it was great for $7 and it was very intimate with out so many people.

I'm sure someone else will have a more detailed description.
