The Aussies Have a Slow News Day...

Melbourne's Afternoon Paper, MX, featured a front page article on Mitch Mitchell, a Melbourne based Artist, who is setting off to Minneapolis to present his idol Prince with a gold Sculpture of the Purple One. He has made several attempts to contact Prince via Paisley Park, but so far with no success. Mitchell claims his latest attempt will see him try and track down Princes Father in one of Minneapolis's many Jazz bars. (Isn't he passed on now?) I suspect that Prince doesnt want to accept the gift as it a: could be coming from a derranged fan, and b: I've seen the sculpture and it looks more like Little Richard than Prince anyway. LOL! I will endevour to bring u a pic of it in the next couple of days. In other Australian Prince References, another article made references to a new album coming soon from the Man, and persistant rumours continuing of a pending World Tour which is likely to include Australia. The 80s are back in fasion, so Prince should jump in, as afterall he is the true 80s pop music icon.

[I take it nothing much interesting happens in Melbourne...! -Ben]
