Kat dyson (ex Prince band) is touring with Ivan Neville. Got back from Philly about 3:30 this morning from seeing Ivan Neville (Aarons son- sounds totally different vocally, plays a Hammond B3) and Bruce Willis and the Accelerators. I went for Ivan's show , though Bruce's was pretty fun. Kat got to play some SERIOUS Hendrix style guitar, never what I saw with Prince. I talked to her briefly after the show and she said the tour was cool cause she got to play what she knew! Also picked up Ivan's new cd at the gig, and Steve Parke designed and photographed the cover and insides. Totally different than his stuff for Prince. Listening to it on the way home, I gotta say - CHECK IT OUT! It's really a great cd. Kat also said they'd be on Letterman the 29th of this month, so you can see her there. Have to get to work (late).
