No Doubt's Gwen Stefani has spoken to Radio 1 about working with Prince.

The group flew over to his Paisley Park home in Minneapolis to work on a track for his forthcoming album. They all got on so well that Prince re-worked one of their own songs which now features on their new album, 'Rock Steady'.

But Gwen was equally bowled over by Prince's appearance:

"He looked gorgeous when we saw him. He was wearing a full velour jumpsuit, his hair was perfect, his make-up was perfect. He was amazing! He looked exactly what you wanted him to look like!"

No Doubt release the single 'Hey Baby' on February 4 and the album 'Rocky Steady' follows on February 11. They appear live at London's Scala on January 23.
