AUS Newspaper Prince References

The Melbourne Express Newspaper from Australia, this week had a couple of References to Prince. First Mention seemed to basically confirm Princes marriage to a "mystery woman" claiming that the wedding took place in Hawaii, before Prince and Bride, spent the honeymoon in Las Vegas. Could this be the new home for Prince? Hehe. The second mention also made mention of the sales total for TRC album, at roughly around 90,000 copies, stating that it is an impressive effort for something that is independent and relying on no marketing at all. However, I personally believe that while it is an impressive independent result, lets not lose sight of the fact that Prince was once held in the top regard of the music industry, was a multimillion selling artist, and in comparison, 90,000 is quite a paltry result. Even Michael Jacksons Invincible album which as far as quality goes, doesnt even shit on TRC, managed to rack up sales of a few million units. Time for Prince to realise the benefits of Record company backing? I think so.
