A COSTUME-BUILT ADDITION

Lots of people give gifts of clothing for the holidays, and the Minnesota Historical Society is a lucky recipient this year. Not likely to be exchanged for different sizes or colors are Prince's outfit from "Purple Rain" and a bow-dress worn by Lorie Line on her 1997 tour. Both costumes have been added to the MHS exhibit, "Sounds Good to Me: Music in Minnesota," and will be on display for the remaining four years of the exhibit's run. (J.S.)
