Just got a copy of The Vault from WB - I happen to work for on of the WB companies, and it is a very cool CD. I'm a relative newcomer to Prince, but I feel the material is strong. The packaging is rather lame, though - a two page booklet stating the musicians, engineers, studios, mastering engineers etc.. The actual CD has a cool design, looks like a dayglo orange studio audio tape reel. Cool horns on quite a few of the songs on the disc.
