NW England Metro TRC Review

A small review of TRC appears in todays edition of The Metro, a free newspaper circulated in North West England:

Reviewer gives 3 stars out of 5
(Claire Allfree)

Prince has become a Jehovah's Witness in recent years; this album - a return to form of sorts - is awash with spiritual pronouncements testifying to his new-found spiritual contentment. In theory, they create an overarching concept album narative, or at least they would if Prince didn't get so frequently tangled up in his guitar-spangled jazz-funk arrangements. Still, it's those very same sublime soul workouts and the many lush ballad moments that paradoxically make the albums's music so pleasingly elusive and heady.
