Not really news but I emailed one of the biggest retailers in Australia recently asking about a release date down here for TRC and this is the response I got.

Have also been told by another store that the album is available at the moment on import only.

I have been unable to confirm a definite release date for Prince's new album suggesting that it may not be released till next year. One whisper is that the album may only be available directly off his official web site and may not actually be released in Australia at all.

After making my many phone calls to find any info about a Australian release of TRC a local retailer in Melbourne Australia has about 20 copies. These are imports. The store is called Mighty Music Machine on Chapel Street.
