After that ambiguous email all of the NPGMC members received, I wrote to the NPG Music Club asking about the end of the NPGMC in January and here is the response I received:

January 2002 will b the last edition of the first 12-month cycle of the NPGMC. We would now prefer 2 get everyone on the same cycle and not 12 different ones. We will just have 2 wait and c what Year 2 will bring.

I got a response to my email to npgmusicclub.com about their offer to Premium members to "xtend backwards" their annual account...here's what they said:

"....We have now structured it so that new members get access 2 the first 12-month cycle of the Club and current members have the OPTION 2 access the entire first 12-month cycle. We now would prefer 2 break up the years in2 complete cycles instead of having 12 different annual membership cycles.

Your annual membership began in the month u started as a Premium Member. We would prefer it if everyone was on the same schedule but we leave up 2 each individual member who has joined in the past 9 months."

So, it looks as if 1) they AREN'T closing up shop at the end of January...2) you DO have the option of either keeping your annual renewal date as it is now OR "xtending backwards" so that you're on their preferred annual cycle...and 3) if you JUST joined in November, or will join in December or January, your won't have that option...instead, you'll be given access to all the downloads starting from Feb 2001 instead...

Hope this clears up shit for everyone...lol
