Michael Bland (former drummer extraordinaire for the NPG before he was replaced by ex-Gameboyz dancer - UGH, wtf was/is thinking?) appeared (happily) as Maxwell's funky drummer last night on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" during Maxwell's performance of "Fortunate."



I suppose this means that Michael is Maxwell's drummer on his current tour in the U.S. Anyways, just wanted to let those of you lucky enough to catch the performance last night, that yes that was Michael's signature grin laying the beats behind the stripped down version of the song. It was nice to see him again.
