*As reported in yesterday's EUR (11/07-01), Sly Stone will not be attending the upcoming R&B Foundation's Pioneer Awards this Thursday night. Fox 411 reports, however, that the Artist formerly known as the Artist Formerly Known As Prince may show to honor the legendary artist, Stone.

The Foundation also announced that record label Universal Music has donated $2 million dollars to the foundation, setting up the Motown/Universal Music Group fund. The Rhythm and Blues Foundation gives funds to former stars and musicians who've fallen on hard times. The new Motown/UMG give financial assistance to Motown acts of the past.
