AK on UK TV (Plays HCUDCMA, Mum on Prince) Alicia Keys was just on Later With Jools Holland, a live (late) music program on the BBC. She performed "A Woman's Worth", "Fallin'" and "How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore".
For once, she didn't give us the crazy (!) Prince story. [Essence, essence_uk@hotmail.com also sent in:] Alicia Keys did a three song set on BBC2's "Later With Jools Holland Show". She told Jools how "How Come You Don't Call Me" is one of her favourite songs of all time and she loves Prince etc. Jools Holland is a pianist and he hosts this unplugged & live music show. She then went on to perform it with Jools accompanying her on piano. It was rather good, especially with the lack of drum machine you get on her album version. She also did "Fallin" and "A Woman's Worth". Her live performances on UK television have been creating waves what with the lack of live music coming from modern acts. http://clubs.yahoo.com/cl...wnasprince [A couple more people send this as well. Thanks... -Ben] | |
