RollingStone coverage of IIWP Tribute CD

This was at rollingstone.com:

In a move that's sure to make the honoree feel . . . oh . . . five feet tall, a batch of indie-rock ne'er-do-wells have banded together to pay tribute to none other than the Artist once again known as Prince -- collecting those efforts on a forthcoming disc entitled (appropriately enough) If I Was Prince. The disc, which Beggars Banquet will release early in the new year, ranges from the appropriately seedy (like porno-pop siren Peaches' take on "Sexy Dancer") to the downright surreal (art-folkie Jeb Loy Nichols' rendition of "The Ballad of Dorothy Parker"). As a bonus, the participants went the extra mile and completed the thought raised by the disc's title -- with our favorite suggestion coming from Blue States frontman Andy Dragazis, who took the words right out of our mouth by saying, "If I was Prince, I'd surround myself with some of his women, ride around naked on horseback and steal all his equipment before I was changed back" . . .
