Atlanta-based Van Hunt a Prince fanatic!

{{{Atlanta-based Van Hunt sings his neo-soul songs for 'Morning Becomes Eclectic'... says he's a Prince fanatic on an interview with Nic Harcourt.

I just read in the Mpls. City Pages paper that he was playing at the Quest this week (Tuesday, the 17th). It also said that Wendy Melvoin was playing in his band. It says, "The creatively chosen instrumental support includes Matt Chamberlain, Patrick Warren, Wendy Melvoin, and Lennie Castro."

hmmm

Sucks because I leave Mpls. on Tuesday dammit! mad

disregard my post if this is already posted somewhere else edit

Yeah, more Curtis Mayfield, than Prince but I do hear the influence. I will definetly cop his CD. BTW, I reside in the DC area as well, peace!
