Another TRC Review

ok, so eye only saw one review on here, and eye just got my download of it.. so here's another review..

The Rainbow Children-Deep Voice intro to the song, Very classy/Jazzy feel to it.. the voice that leads the chorus in the song is somewhat hard 2 adjust, but its different.. (glad he still believes in tryin new things) the chorus at the end is great... sounds and flows beaufiully. eye also like how the song kinda just cuts off at the end.. and the voice starts back in.. it reminds me of an opera type cd..

Muse 2 the pharow- ok, the intro is very spooky sounding.. the guitar solo is just fabulous.. (thanx prince) he kindof whispers Habibi and then the guitar picks up in this intro.. The intro is almost 2:50 long, then the song picks up.. it has a D'angelo/Voodoo style vibe 2 it.. Eye can tell he got somewhat of an inspiration from that album VOODOO by D. Nice harmony throughout the song, the keyboards are nice. all around nice prince jam, definantly a great start 2 this album.

Digital Garden- Very serious sounding song, prince's falsetto is beautiful, and the percussions are nice.. the song makes a turn around 2:50 seconds in the song to a faster tempo.. the Bob George voice enters without his message, and the guitar is screaming bloody murder throughout the song and hits a the high notes at the very end.. NICE:)

The Work PT1-Ok, we've all pretty much heard this.. its nice james brownsy type jam. The horns are nice and the little extra's added, but nothing eye listen 2 when eye pop this wonderful cd in.

Everywhere-This is where the cd gets a little different.. A girl (not sure on the name) Sounds alot like alicia Keys sings the first lines and the beat picks up.. I'm not used 2 this song yet, its very fruity sounding, but again, a nice touch 2 this album.

The Sensual Everafter- This is a Beautiful Instrumental, the paino is very brillant sounding, so is the guitar... wish it was longer.. the bob george voice talks through the first of the song... then it becomes an instrumental jam session.. the beat picks up at the end.. very very very very nice song

Mellow-Another D'angelo (sorry for this comparison, but it just reminds me of the voodoo songs) very very "mellow" sounding song, he refers in the song that it takes awhile to fix his hair (very man'ly thing 2 say isnt it)
one of my favorite songs, just something 2 chill to.. something 2 listen 2 when ure with ure woman.. Keyboards flow like the wine from a grape on this jam:)

1+1+1=3-ok, we can say this is the sister of Erotic City, this has a great beat and one of the power elements of this cd. the tempo gets ure little tush shakin and it just bumps very hard.. still got the live effect to it, and the "Whos that knockin on the door" is a classic line!smile great job Prince:)

Deconstruction-Very scary feeling to it..then it gets a little mellow vibe 2 it.. wouldnt call this a song, the bob george voice is talking through it.. and the guitar is bein played through-out it.. sounds like 2 guitars dueting at one point.. neato sounding

Wedding Feast-ok.. this is just cheasy sounding.. nothing special on this.. VERY SHORT and comical sounding, but most of all, he's tryin 2 get his belief/point of view across on this track (u are what u eat, so we must eat a leaf) hehe.. only prince eye tell ya!smile

She Loves Me 4 Me-YES!!! what a great song, very live feel to it.. jazzy, and it flows from the start 2 end.. its wondrful sounding, and YES, again eye refer to the Voodoo cd.. its got that Voodoo feel to it.. no harmony on this, just ol' prince takin this track live.. its great and his voice hits every note!smile great....

Family Name-Macintosh Voice's start this track..this songs mainly about the racial issues and its very funky, it clocks in just over 8 minutes.. its differnt and one eye'm not quite used 2...

The Everlasting Now-Nice meaning to the song "dont let no'body bring ya down".. very cool, got a live crowd sampled in it.. and he's lyrics flow 2 the beat..

Last December-ok, one of the best on the cd. the message is simply beautiful. This song leaves u feeling hope, and the song brings alot of ?'s to the mind.. just leaves u thinking, this guys got a point..
The guitar solo' on this joint is tight, he totally changes the tempo of this song in the middle of it, and just jams out on the guitar..WONDERFUL sounding..

well here's a review.. eye give it 4 outta 5.. this grows on ya.. and something all prince fans should here.. regardless if ure a newbie or an oldie.. its got something 4 everyone on it.. so come 2gether and buy the cd when it comes out:) later rainbow chillins!
