That's great that he'll be in San Francisco. After that, he needs to make his way back south and come to San Diego. My friends need to be educated in the ways of funk and real music.

Oh well, I shouldn't be greedy. I just saw him Sunday at HOB after the Grammys.

Though I've heard the Fillmore doesn't have curfews like HOB and last time he was there he played until like 5am.

Count TheMax in for the Fillmore! Snagged 2 tix the moment I chanced upon the email announcement - just before 5pm.

I didn't check my email until 6:30 so I missed out on the member tickets - wonder how many were reserved for members since they sold out in under 3 hours

I was in San Francisco this last weekend for Supercross, and just don't feel up to another trip this quick, even for Prince. I don't feel so bad now that the member tix sold out.

* saw Prince and the CSU Convention Center in 1998 & Prince's Tickets went on sale at 9:00am.. BY 9:45 the WHOLE 5,000 seats were sold out.

I remember because I got there at 9:20am I only lived right down the street to a Grocery Store and I assumed they would have a ton of tickets.. I got there and there was about 50 people in line already ALL getting Tickets! And this Gracery Store was just a basic nothing place in the burbs! Nothing special..

The People working there were in shock!!! because they sell tickets for everything (concerts,WWE) and they said they have NEVER had a line up of people.. even for acts like Backstreet Boys!
