Clive Davis Pre Grammy Celebration Live 2/7 on Sirius Satellite Radio and AOL- {With Prince?} Hey everybody,
I'm hearing that Clive Davis' Pre Grammy Celebraton on 2/7 will broadcast segments on Sirius Satellite Radio as well as AOL. Prince is one of the invited guests. Might they broadcast some purpleness? o[+>

Wonder if Prince will mention a press release? Something's brewing, eh?

If we assume that he really is planning to release a new album this year, then he really should have given out a press release about it BEFORE the Grammy performance. The longer he waits after it, the less effect it will have (obviously). "How embarrasing to be human!"

I'm hoping this is gossip. Even though I like Beyonce, I was hoping Prince and his band would showcase their talents alone.

That has to be the worst casting choice since, oh, ever! Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. Prince teams with Beyoncé for a sizzling production number http://www.usatoday.com/l...elay_x.htm Oooh, I do hope this happens!!! Beyonce is probably the hottest female artist around (I am speaking sales-wise and attention-wise...). Partnering with her would surely be broadcasted even in summaries of the event (whereas otherwise he will surely be edited out of those). What more exposure could you want... And - her music ain't that bad either, at least much better than lots of that plastic pop around, so it would not be a disgrace partnering with her... And look-wise - hey, I'd partner with her anytime

Maybe she'll mention that. wow where did you hear that? got a link? its weird cos i was just reading an interview with her in the brit magazine (for the brit awards, like the UK version of the grammies or whatever) and she didnt mention prince despite being asked baout her influences or who she'd like to collab with. so funny this comes up! did the songs get on the album? prince is going to be rolling in it if they do get on, her next album will sell so much!

Well Prince was a no show at Clive's party.
But if you get a chance to see it replayed it was very entertaining. I think Jamie Fox stole the show, the freestyle with him Alicia Keyes and Angie Stone at the very end was worth staying up for. Peace
