Prince mention on the Rocking Vicar Email List

Prince mention on the Rocking Vicar
(http://www.rockingvicar.com)

Not sure how true this is , but it does conjure a an interesting image !!!

(The Rocking Vicar is a weekly email full of rock memories , very amusing - if a little Prog rock orientated -it`s a bit like Popbitch for the older generation)

One of the categories that people mail in is "Celebrity Fans" which is sightings of famous people at gigs.
This week it features some memories from a guy called Allan Robinson who was (allegedly) the manager of the Town & Country club in Kentish (which BTW was later known as the Forum which hosted the Prince aftershow following his Wembley Stadium concert on the Greatest Hits Tour).
Prince is mentioned as the celebrity fan for the Wendy & Lisa gig (they did play there)
It reads Prince ; Wendy & Lisa - we had to smuggle him into the manager`s office , where he perched on an old battered car seat , amongst piles of dog ends and "Jazz mags"

Not sure how true this is but as I said at the start it`s an interesting image.

Although I have posted the web address it only gives you the home page, you have to subscribe to get the email - don`t know how this works in terms of people being able to read it themselves, but I have cut and pasted the relevant section...
