Swedish paper Expressen recently interviewed Green Garthside, better known as Scritti Politti. He just released a new album called "Anomie & Bonhomie", featuring Wendy Melvoin on bass. Green was quoted saying,
"Wendy is still in contact with Prince. Apparently, Prince is just beginning to realize for himself how insane he really is. And that insight has certainly taken its toll on him. According to Wendy, he is on the verge of a nervous breakdown."

There you have it, take it for what it is: a comment from someone who heard about it. I didn't think Wendy was talking to Prince. Maybe Garthside misunderstood when Wendy made some remark about how The Artist has been behaving lately, what with him taunting her and Lisa on L4OA anout "Roadhouse Garden"...
