CJ Mentions Prince in 7/15 Column, her Homepage

http://www.startribune.co...ord=prince

An "old" column (July 15) of CJ mentiones Pricne being spotted around Minneapolis, also mentions the lawsuit...

"Prince seen, not shown"

Word has it that Prince was seen Sunday in Uptown at Campiello. His narrow persona was wrapped in a black velvet get-up -- loose-fitting pants, top and brimless matching velvet hat -- as it swept into the private dining area.
He must be feeling good about Uptown since his lawyers won a ruling over Uptown Productions, which he's suing for copyright and trademark infringement. A July issue of the New York Law Journal reported that Prince wanted to ensure that his next video, a deposition, will have a small audience. "The video, sought by the company the rock star has sued ... will not be shown on the company's Web site, thanks to an order by a federal judge," NYLJ wrote. "The suit contended that Uptown had 'created an entire business based on exploiting [Prince's] image and persona' to its own economic benefit."
This item's a gift to the 332-TIPS caller who lamented: "Has Prince left town or don't you write about him anymore?"

Getting Prince to write a song about me ("Billy Jack Bitch") and later deny I was the subject.
