Prince-Related Liner Notes from "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" soundtrack.

Kevin Smith wrote the following on The Time in the liner notes to the soundtrack for his great new film:

"Not only have I been a fan of Morris Day and the Time since before "Purple Rain," but "Jungle Love" in particular was an all-time fave - so much so that I wrote it into the new flick. The Mad-Men of Minneapolis were goodly enough to provide us with a killer live recording of that classic track for both the film and the soundtrack. If there was ever a track on this album that could get you laid, this is it. However, as we've already established, no one's giving it up for the likes of you. So just put it out of your head and enjoy the song."

For those of you who haven't seen the movie yet, there are several references to the Time throughout - Jay and Silent Bob even almost kick the @$$ of a couple of Prince detractors.
