Friday night Kevin Smith was on Conan O'Brien promoting his new movie "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back." After Kevin and Conan discussed how great and funny The Time was in Purple Rain.

Kevin talked about his filming of the Rainbow Children documentary he said that Prince was a "Big fan of Jesus" and Conan replied "Yeah, I heard he has all his albums"

Kevin also said that Prince was kind of hard to work with because he spoke so cryptically. Kevin shared an example of Prince's cryptic language by relaying a conversation they had about the documentary.

Prince asked Kevin "If a big snake gives birth to a little snake, what does the little snake grow up to be?"

Kevin answered "A big snake?"

Prince said "Very good. Now if that big snake gives birth to a little snake what will that snake grow up to be?"

Kevin answered "a big snake" again.

Prince said "Right! See you have to know who your father is."

Kevin Then turned to Conan and said "Hey, don't talk to me like I'm Apollonia! What's next are you gonna make me take of my blouse and jump into Lake Minnatonka?"

At this point the interview was basically over. They hyped the movie a little more and went to commercial.
