Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro are getting hitched, the New York Post reported. The former Jane's Addiction and Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist reportedly popped the question August 14, and Electra accepted. This will be the second marriage for both Navarro, 34, and Electra, 29. Electra was previously married to bad-boy basketballer Dennis Rodman for four tumultuous months.

Dave Navarro Engaged To Carmen Electra

(8/16/01, 3 p.m. ET) -- Dave Navarro proposed to his girlfriend Carmen
Electra on Tuesday (August 14), and the model/actress, who was formerly
married to basketball star Dennis Rodman, accepted. A spokesperson for
Navarro told LAUNCH the wedding won't be until next year, because Electra
is busy with her show in Las Vegas, and Navarro will be on the road with
Jane's Addiction after a solo tour.
Navarro has been dating Electra for some time, and he recently told LAUNCH
about his desire to settle down. "There's no inner, like, search that I'm
trying to satisfy with music right now," he said. "I'm truly doing it
because I love it. Like I said, I have other goals, and one of those other
goals is to raise a family, you know? Because I know what it's like not to
have a family and I know what it's like to be locked in the studio for
months at a time, but that's something that I don't know about. I think
what's exciting to me right now are things I don't know about."
Before Navarro tours with Jane's Addiction this fall, he will go out on a
solo tour in support of his new solo album, Trust No One. Dave Navarro solo
