John Blackwell is featured on the cover of the September issue of Modern Drummer. There is an interview, in which he discusses meeting Larry Graham and Prince, hooking up with Cameo and Patti Labelle, as well as his time studying at Berklee.

There are "sidebar" interviews with Larry and Prince too. The Prince interview looks like it was an email interview.
